The Board of Secondary Education of Andhra Pradesh (Directorate of Government Examinations) was established in the year 1953. It is a self-governing body under the Andhra Pradesh’s Department of Education. This board regulates education in the state of Andhra. The board conducts examination for mainly class 10, 11, and 12. This board does other important works in the state:

Class 10 syllabus for Andhra Pradesh Board

After the recent orders, the Board has to follow the CCE exam pattern. It includes the summative and formative tests. All the schools affiliated by Andhra Board has to conduct the examination as per CCE format. According to the exam pattern, 80 marks are allotted for the written paper and 20 marks are for the internal assessment.
