Brief
IMO(International Mathematics Olympiad) conducted by SOF(Science Olympiad Foundation) which helps the students to know when they stand academically within the school, city, zonal and international level.
Each student is provided with a Student Performance Report (SPR) which analyses the strong and weak areas of the student and also gives a detailed performance comparison of the student at School, City, Zonal and International level.
ELIGIBILITY
 Students of classes 112 can participate in this examination
REGISTRATION
 1.Fill the registration form sent to the registered school.
 2.Non registered school also can request for a registration form at info@sofworld.org
 3.The filled forms are to be sent by the school to SOF before the due date.
ROLL NUMBER
 1.The roll number is allotted by the coordinating teacher as per the given guidelines.
 2. Copy of roll number is to be sent to the Foundation office along with Students Registration Sheet(SRS) and School Registration Form(SRF).
REGISTRATION FEE
RS. 125 (including 18% GST) plus RS. 25 (optional) is charged per student towards honorarium of in charge, remuneration to teachers to teach, guide using study material supplied by SOF and other miscellaneous expenses.
EXAM PATTERN
 1. The exam is conducted during school hours in their respective school.
 2. The examination will be conducted on three dates; each school will select any date as per their convenience.
 3. The medium of the question paper is English.
 4. The examination is held at two levels:
a. Level 1:conducted for all the students from classes 112 who have registered for the examination
 The paper is an objectivetype test.
 The paper comprises of 35 questions for classes 14 and 50 questions for classes 512.
 The question paper is divided into four sections:
 Section1: Logical Reasoning
 Section2: Mathematical Reasoning
 Section3: Everyday Mathematics
 Section4: Achievers Section
 The duration of this examination is 1 hour.
b. Level 2: conducted for students of classes 3 to 12. The selected candidates are:
 Top 5% of candidates, class wise will get selected for the next level
 Top 25 rank holders class wise & Zone wise
 Class topper where at least 10 students from a class appear in the exam & scores 50% qualifying marks.
EXAM DATES
The examination will be held on 4th December 2018; 13th December 2018 and 18th December 2018.
