BRIEF

NSEP (National Standard Examination in Physics) conducted by IAPT(Indian Association of Physics Teachers) offers an opportunity to measure one's standing against a national standard.
More than 40,000 students at over 1200 centres appear at this examination.

ELIGIBILITY

  1. Must be eligible to hold an Indian passport.
  2. Should be born between 1st July 1999 to 30 June 2004
  3. Must be residing and studying in India or must be studying in Indian school system since 30th November 2016.
  4. Must not have completed class 12.
  5. Must not be appearing in NSEJS.

REGISTRATION

  1. Registration will be done through the registered centre which includes any school or college affiliated to state/centre boards.
  2. Visit the centre with registration fee and register yourself.

REGISTRATION FEE

Registration fee is Rs 150 per student

EXAM PATTERN

  1. The medium of examination will be English, Hindi, Gujarati and Bangla
  2. The question is of MCQs type.
  3. The question paper is divided into two sections
  • Section I:- 3 marks questions in which only one option is correct
  • Section II:- 6 marks question in which has more than one option correct. In order to secure full marks one has to mark all the correct options.
  1. Duration of examination is 2 hours.

  • Gold medalists in NSEP may join DAE directly through interview after they complete their education.
